After seeing street libraries on our travels, we thought it would be a wonderful idea to have one for our local community and travellers alike. Our street library is located on the main street of Peterborough, in front of our small, vintage store/coffee shop – The Tinsmith’s Cottage. Continuing with the vintage theme we chose a 1950’s fridge for our library, which was spray painted and sign written by our local sign writer. We have had lots of books donated and regularly maintain the library. It’s off to a great start!
Take a book, swap a book or leave a book. Anyone can enjoy this library! Inside, you will find a variety of books, magazines, dvds, and even jigsaw puzzles.
