I love to read and found we were collecting lots of books in our cupboards, despite sharing with family regularly. So I put the suggestion to our community via Facebook about setting up a street Library to utilize some of these books!!
Our initial plan was not received well by local council so eventually I purchased a ready made box and placed it at the end of our driveway a month ago! I check the library box daily and swap books that don’t seem to move
We live in a beautiful bush area just 10 minutes out of Launceston( Tasmania’s second largest city) We have a lovely new box purchased from street library.org.au with a variety of great books
