We were inspired by a story in The Age about street libraries. The entire country is currently in lock down due to COVID-19. We have a heap of books care of our parents recently down-sizing. It seems only right to share! Construction was a family effort over Easter. We hope we have created a library that will catch the eye and keep the books dry. More importantly we hope the library will be well used and a source of enjoyment for our local neighbourhood.
Happy Reading!
Times are tough. Books offer a chance to escape. The local library is shut, but your street library is open! We plan to update the selection weekly and are happy to take requests if you have a particular genre in mind (no promises, but we will try!).
