We wanted a street library for our children to be able to learn about community and for them to share their books with others.
They wanted to share with other children their favourite books and in turn for other children to share with them.
The promotion of visual literacy via books is important for us to teach our children rather than through screen time.
The intent is for the library to promote reading literacy via books rather than screens.
The love of books promotes imagination and creativity.
The street library also teaches the children about community and engagement
