The Botanic Garden’s Outdoor Reading Rooms are based on the global ‘book crossing’ concept of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others. We encourage all to bring their pre-loved books to donate to this Outdoor Reading Room so this collection can continue grow. We hope this program will bring the community together, celebrating their love of books and the outdoors.
The Botanic Garden hosts 2 outdoor bookcases that hold a range of pre-loved fiction, non-fiction and children’s books for visitors to enjoy.
