Yanchep’s Little Free Library

Located just outside the community centre, Yanchep's Little Free Library is themed to compliment the local area, known for its sandy beach, glistening lagoon, friendly dolphins and King Neptune's statue in Two Rocks. Whether you're visiting this beautiful part of the world for a holiday, or if you're lucky enough to live here, make sure you stop by to browse our collection of free books. You can also choose from our dedicated children's story tree area, which is located inside the centre.

Yanchep’s Little Free Library is a community driven project. It was inspired by a numerous requests for books on a local community wishing wall, then built, installed and painted by local volunteers.

Local author, Barbara Yates-Rothwell formally opened the library in 2015, and it is now stewarded and stocked by volunteers.

It is well used by the local community and visiting tourists to Yanchep.
