Our Library covers a range of different types of novels and books for everyone to choose from.
Bathurst Regional Council Children’s Services has its very own Street Library.
The local Children’s Services community are welcome to come and browse the various children’s books to borrow.
A wonderful community resource for families in the Ferny Grove area, located close to the local schools and childcare centres. Feel free to borrow a book or leave one of your own!
Our library promotes literacy for all ages – children, teens, adults and the elderly. We will ensure it is stocked with something for everyone

Located just outside the gates of our amazing childcare centre, the Nova Star Street Library is the perfect place to share a love of reading!
Our fabulously painted street library is now in action in King St. Filled with adult and children's books, its available for use for all community members within the precinct.
FiRST Early Learning Hastings street library is located at the front of our building, under cover, in our gated foyer and is open for all of the community to access and use. We have a large selection of children's books and an outdoor library area with seating, we encourage all families to utilise this wonderful library regardless of whether you have an enrolled child or not.
Next to our library we also have a recycle station where you are able to donate any loose parts you think we may be able to use in our art projects.
There is also a community pantry you are welcome to take what you need and give what you can. Regular items in our pantry include fresh herbs, pantry dry goods and unopened toiletries.
Our Street Library is a real part of the community with local residents taking ownership and stocking the library with books and making sure it is always appealing.
Increase your literacy, love of books and reading by borrowing a book to share with your child or for some time out and relaxation by yourself with a hot cuppa.
We need to bring back children's love & respect for books as unfortunately, technology has taken over story telling. We believe supporting the books in our library will bring back that excitement and love for stories whilst experiencing Darug art by Aunty Beverly, our Aboriginal Elder.
