In June, Little Scholars Ashmore (a daycare centre in Queensland) opened the first of their first Street Libraries. According to them, it’s one of our favourite initiatives of 2017.
It is such a simple, honest community driven initiative that promotes children’s literacy.
So a shout out to all local Ashmore families – they are more than welcome to come and use their Street Library. Best of all, staff are already seeing their Little Scholars families use the library as over half the books have changed already.
More Little Scholars Street Libraries will be popping up at all of our campuses with our Yatala Street Library opening next week.
