Regis Hornsby are very passionate about creating community connections.

A Street Library has opened a new chapter for the community at Regis Aged Care, Hornsby. It set to bring the community surrounding Regis even closer through a joint love of reading.

Reading is so important for all ages and it is great way to start building connection for the residences within Regis and the wider community.
The men’s group constructed and painted the Library over the past few months, and over a few beers as well!  Residents enjoyed collaborating on the building of the kit, along with the design and artwork, and were very proud to stock the Library with literary works.  It will be curated by our resident teacher/librarian, who volunteered for the role.

“If people read, they can live through thousands of lives, by exploring different characters.”
