Share the love of reading around at School or Daycare

Schools are often the heart of the community. Imagine if that hart expanded to further a love of reading and literacy beyond the school yard. Just to the street outside. Street Libraries are a new community trend exciting Australia.

Encourage a Street Library program to further encourage a love of reading in your school or after care program. They could exchange their favorite books and build friendships on something substantial. Also building and painting it together would be an awesome activity!

We already have a number of schools already participating with Street Library Australia including Australia Street Infants, Brighton Primary, Jarrahdale Primary and Wyndham Park Primary Schools. You could become involved too. Speak to your Parents & Citizens organisation and see what you can do to become involved.
