BLACKTOWN’S first community street library has been installed — and the family behind the project hope it helps foster a love of reading.Kristy Gavegan said her children, Zoe, 4, and Liam, 6, love to find new books inside the little box set up to encourage residents to borrow, swap and donate books.“It makes us all excited when we see someone has used it,’’ Ms Gavegan said of her Matthew Cres library.“We haven’t actually seen anyone there; we have just seen the results after.
