What’s your story? As a Street Librarian or a Street Library user, what have you seen and experienced?

This might be:

A story of connecting with others and a feeling of belonging.

The creation of a  community hub formed by neighbours who share the work of looking after their Street Library.

A love of reading that has been rekindled, or literacy levels that have improved.

Romance is not unheard of! Messages have been left in books!

The nice feeling we get from doing something good for our local community…

Street Library Australia and Kyogle Readers and Writers Festival are combining forces to collect, share and celebrate your stories.

Don’t be shy – let’s share the joy!

Submissions can be made via the form below or email, or you can give Street Library Australia a call on 02 84057942 and leave a voicemail telling us your name and your story.

We’re also on the hunt for Street Librarians who are willing to help collect stories via their libraries and share them with us at SLA. Email us to find out more.

Submissions will be collated and shared at this years’ Kyogle Readers and Writers Festival on May 17-18, and through the Street Library Australia network.
