Reading is our passion at Dromana Primary School. We want to provide a location where books are always accessible for our school community. We want everyone to always have access to books. “Today a reader, Tomorrow a leader.” (Margaret Fuller)
We were very lucky to have a library box donated by a volunteer from Scouts Australia.
It makes us happy to see the Little Library each day. Having access to books every day will really assist our students to reach their fullest potential, plus so much more.
“What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet or excite you. Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean; they show us how to live and die.” (Anne Lamott)
Earthlings take me to your books!
