We are all about reusing and recycling, so our street library encompasses that philosophy. We tried very hard to build our library using recycled or repurposed materials (bar the hinges and Perspex!). Would you believe the post is from an old Hills hoist?!
Our library has been a godsend for the community during covid lockdown to allow for sharing books and meeting neighbours through the Facebook group.
Alongside a beautiful park bench, within the ascot park playground, if you look closely you might find our street library, it is green like the bush surrounds after all!
