My children and partner gave me the street library for my birthday. They painted it bright red. They know that I love books. For a long time I have kept my favourite books on bookshelves gathering dust until they get read again. I enjoy them even more if I know that they are being read and enjoyed by other people and passed around. I am also interested in what books other people might want to share.
Lots of great novels, recent and timeless. A few great kids books too. The odd magazine.
