We purchased our assembled, but unpainted, Street Library more than a year ago. Then life got in the way, and we have only recently competed the painting and decorating. Our handy person built the mount for the Street Library and attached it to our front fence a while ago. Today we fixed the Street Library to the mount and filled it with books. We plan to put leaflets in our neighbours’ mail boxes announcing the launch of our Street Library. COVID permitting, we may hold a launch party.
We are avid readers and have lots of friends who are as well, so we can guarantee a good supply of books from several genres.
