Our family all loves to read and we wanted an avenue to share our love of books, and pass on those we have read so that others can enjoy them too. Our dog Billie is always at the front fence greeting everyone as they walk past. Everyone knows her by name – she is a big girl but very friendly and gentle. We thought that placing our library by the gate where she stands would let people have a chat with her while they chose their next great read or drop off books that they have finished with.
