Reading gives us somewhere to go when we have to stay where we are.
We created Book Box as Melbourne exceeded 200 days in lockdown (5 km bubble and evening curfew) and no end in sight.
With libraries closed and no book stores in our 5km our community library provides a place for locals to share their pre loved books with others, and to add to swap or borrow a book any time and get to travel anywhere anytime, if only in their heads 😊
When restrictions ease and travel resumes, we hope locals and others will continue to use and enjoy Book Box.
We only ask that donated books are in a clean undamaged condition.
