This street library has been designed and built by me and my sister: two teenagers with a love of books, with help from our two little siblings. It has been made from 100% recycled materials: fence posts, old spare plywood and leftover paint, all found in our shed. This project is far from perfect, but an enormous amount of effort has gone into it and we ask that you please treat it with respect. We encourage you to borrow any books that take your fancy or swap books in here for books of your own that need a new home. This library is for all ages: you are never too young or old to dive into a new story and there is no friend as loyal as a book.
With a range of books that appeal to both kids and adults, our street library has been handcrafted from 100% recycled materials.
