I have been an early childhood educator for over 20 years and literacy plays a large part in the education of children on a daily basis. We know how important reading to children is and how it increases vocabulary and comprehension. Our library has been created by repurposing the old letter box and is located on the outside wall of our child care center. Educators are teaching children about belonging to the community. We have so many beautiful books, too many to count so why not share them with the children in our community.
Our street library is for families and children to visit and we aim to promote reading and literacy to help increase vocabulary and compensation for children in thier early years.
Located at:Corner of Landsdale Rd and Rangeview Drive LANDSDALE
