Initiated & paid for by the Castlecrag Progress Assn, the kid’s box has been designed & painted by 9 year old Sophie Raynor & the adult one by local artist Karen Ferguson. They are really popular, the adult one has burst it’s box & the cafe has generously donated a 3 shelf unit to house the library and box. We had an ‘official’ launch with the Mayor of Willoughby doing the honours in December 2016, and we achieved an article in the local paper about it.
We have 2 fabulous libraries in Castlecrag - a kid's box in The Quadrangle shopping centre and an overflowing adult/teens one outside Cottage & Coast Cafe in the Griffin Centre.
