This lovely re-purposed cupboard houses four shelves for books and a drawer to share seeds.
This model is a 2.0 version of my original little free library that I’d launched in March 2014. It had been an open-air set of shelves – thus the name! After too many rainy days and wet seasons, I literally and figuratively gave it away. Keeping an eye out for second-hand cupboards, I found this little beauty and – with some supplies donated by a couple of friends – repainted and weather-proofed it as best I could. My street gets many passers-by so it’s a great location for sharing with my community.
