Our centre philosophy focuses on nurturing children, supporting families and building communities. We place a strong emphasis on sustainability and seek ways to reduce, reuse and recycle and to cultivate this aspect with our children. It is exciting to have our children and team be involved in this project and to have their thumbprints as part of the flower petal decoration of our library. We have also taken into account the 3 flags of Australia and have used the colours of the flags as inspiration for our flower petals. With our children not being able to visit libraries due to covid closure, they have thoroughly embraced this sharing library concept within their community.
