My daughter and I + a friend decided to check out a Street Library in the neighbourhood one day. From the moment we laid our eyes on that first one we were completely obsessed. Then of course I had to have one of my own. I started with a hot pink locker for the book box. Adult books up top and kids below. Over time my preschooler and I turned our little street library into a magical Alice in Wonderland themed space complete with a colourful mural and a grass sofa. I recently hosted Halloween crafts here for the kids in the neighbourhood. When life is not so busy I hope to be able have more kids events like story time and crafts.
