Love the concept of Street Libraries after seeing one in an old re-purposed English telephone box, and after researching them, decided to build one and model it on my own ” Little Cottage”.
We designed and built it from scratch using Marine ply for the body, as it is out in the open and bolted to our picket fence .
It has double French doors at the front and a mock ‘colorbond’ roof.
I love decorating and handyman magazines so our library even has a mezzanine level for some of our overflowing collection of magazines…choose from House & Garden, Home Beautiful, Handyman, Backyard & Garden design or Inside & Out !
There’s a new Street Library at corner 38 Northmead Ave and Klein Rd, Northmead, NSW 2152.
Our library includes a great selection of hardcover and paper backs, even the odd cookbook.....
It even has a mezzanine for magazines...choose from House & Garden, Home Beautiful, Handyman, Backyard & Garden design or Inside & Out !
Kid's books will be added in Sept 20 so watch this space.
