The Little Red House street library

164-168 Wyndham St, Drysdale, Victoria, Australia 3222

From gardening to cooking, biographies to ‘who dunits’, politics to crafting I hope there’s always books to entice visitors and keep my glassy book bugs happy.

I’ve loved burying myself in books since childhood. From the fantasy adventures of the Famous Five to the other worlds of the Encyclopedia my mother bought books took me elsewhere and expanded what I imagined, knew and felt. They still do. I have taught from them, learnt from them, written them and collected them. Now its time to share them and support others to do the same. I also love my life as a glass artist so my library also shares that with passers by – its adorned with glass mosaics and some very special one-of-a-kind glass library bugs who I hope to keep happy by keeping the library stacked with a shifting array of books.
