We’ve wanted to set up a street library for ages and suddenly, what a perfect Covid 19 lockdown project! Made from cousin Madi’s old doll house, an old TV unit door with a spare piece of sheet metal fashioned into a roof. It’s painted in our brightest colours, inspired by our current favourite books and the little critters we love to see in our garden. Reduce. Reuse. Upcycle.
Take a walk amongst Art Deco and old Queenslander houses and visit our bright yellow library, decorated with suburban garden creatures and some of our favourite books! Guess the smell of what's cooking nearby (hint: it comes from the Sanitarium factory on Ipswich Road)
Located at:35 Mackie Street East, Moorooka, 4105, Queensland, Australia
