Stanmore Public School Children’s Street Library

Stanmore P&C won an extremely popular Street Library grant from the Inner West Council in late 2018. A Stanmore Kindergarten class decorated the Street Library with black and white self portraits, assisted by Ms Ferrario and Ms Fiona. The Children’s Street Library was launched by Councillor Ms Anna York and Principal Ms Fran Larkin in April 2019. The Street Library is an opportunity to expand our support for literacy outside the gates. As Stanmore teachers say “Good readers read everyday”. Conveniently located outside Stanmore Public School, and near Wyvern House, Newington College and Cavendish St Childcare centre.
