We just felt the need to offer something to our beautiful community. Having heard of the Street Library movement, I thought it the perfect fit. We have noted the higher amount of foot traffic passing each day. That, and our ridiculous book collection, sealed the deal. Reading is the ultimate mental escape and spans every age. An awesome adventure. We hope to make people smile.
The beautiful artwork, supplied by Anke and daughter Tilly, is a joy for the eyes and smile for you heart. The books are from varied genre, and hopefully will appeal to as many folks as possible. We have loved building and decorating this space, and hope people get hours of pleasurable reading and enjoyment.
