I was given an article about the Street Library movement over a year ago and liked the idea of installing one at my place. which is on a popular thoroughfare to the lake foreshore & shops. My library was only constructed on Friday 5th June – so it’s brand new. I’ve loved books and reading all my life. I also have acquired (some might say ‘hoarded’!) hundreds of books and am happy to ‘share’… and recycle them. I use my local library regularly and I appreciate community initiatives. I’m sure many people feel the same way, so I hope ‘The Beach Hut’ library will bring them some enjoyment.
