The Book Corner

53 Telopea Street, Telopea, 2117

Our little library, situated on the corner of Homelands Ave and Telopea St, is a book nook filled with pages of inspiration and mystical lands. You can find anything for all ages here!

Starting as a project in the back of my mind during the 2021 lockdown, building a street library seemed like something amazing to do. I thought that by sharing my love of books and the absoultely incredible different lands and realms you can explore through them, people in the local community would come together as one, and enjoy books that have either been well read or straight from a Dymocks shelf. Our design and decorating is themed around how books are for all shapes and sizes, no matter how old or young you are. There are picture and fiction book pages (generously donated by our local library who were going to throw them out) covering the interior and exterior, encouraging everyone to pick up a book and start their reading journey.
