The Lappo Library

11 Evans Parade, Lapstone, NSW, Australia

The Lappo Library is in the lovely lower Blue Mountains...need we say more?

Our library was started by Amanda and her husband Tim. Amanda is a children’s librarian who wanted to share her love of reading and literacy. Her house was over-flowing with great reads and feeling passionately that they’d be better off read, she ordered the library, gave it a dodgy paint job (please feel free to offer to repaint it) – complete with varnish stains (it said ‘clear’ on the tin!) – and crossed her fingers.
Please don’t feel like you have to swap a book if you don’t have one. Feel comfortable just to take, or give if you wish. Our street library is your street library. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy looking after it for you.
‘The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.’ – Dr. Seuss.
