We have been interested in getting a street library for some time now and the COVID-19 lockdown gave us the perfect opportunity to get stuck into the project! The design was inspired by our kids ideas and brought to life beautifully by Melbourne artist Chris Booth (https://www.facebook.com/ChrisBoothArt). We would love our library to be a place where our neighbours and kids from the local schools can share the gift of books and reading with each other and we look forward to meeting new friends along the way.
Our beautiful little Street Library is for people of all ages and reading preferences... from picture books, to classic and modern fiction to biographies and other non-fiction books. It is also graced with some fantastic artwork from artist Chris Booth. Come take a book, give a book, share a book.
