Travelling the world we have come accross many Street libraries, having always wanted to have 1 of my own
I’ve finally achieved this wish by approaching the Taylors Hill Mens Shed to construct one for me. To my delight they approved my application & constructed me one to paint.
The Little Red Library is out all the time as its waterproof.
A larger selection of books for a variety of interests & ages is put out in fine weather when able.
I have been very fortunate to have received many donations of books from some very generous children & parents etc.
My hope is to encourage reading where people get their heads out of their electronic divices & into the wonderful world of reading books. There’s always someone willing to donate books by the bag load so this library will continue to give to the local community many happy hours of reading.
A little library with books for all ages & many interests with the hope of bringing the community together.
