It’s been a combined effort to get our Street Library on the street. The ladies at our Craft and Conversation group saw Gardening Australia’s piece on Street Libraries and fell in love with the idea. So, we approached the men at our Mens Shed and they built our Street Library for us. The plan is for our Art class to put some flair on it shortly.
Yarram Neighbourhood House is very excited! We have a Book Nook book exchange inside and now we have a Street Library too, we will be replenishing the books on a regular basis.
