Our thoughts are with the community of Wardell on the NSW North Coast who have experienced the full effect of the flooding in Northern New South Wales this year.

WardellCORE is a community-centred recovery and service hub focused on the wellbeing and social care. Their aim is to improve people’s lives beyond the point of disaster recover and support the community to create a shared vision for the future.

Their beautiful little handmade Street Library has been lovingly constructed by volunteer Cheryl with support from the organisation’s handyman, Bob. We hope their initiative and enthusiasm helps to support and further strengthen their community.

If you’d like to share literary resources with your community you can either purchase a Street Library from our website or apply for a donated library. Learn more about our donations program here.
